Limping Puppy:What Do You Look For?



Dr Greg examines a puppy with a limp. Most limping is caused by toenail problems, wounds, rashes, muscle strains and joint strains. Splinters, mud, plant awns, wounds, and rashes can make the toes and pads very sore. If the limping is not severe, a few days of anti-inflamatory medicine like aspirin may help. if your dog is painful…seek veterinary advice
