LICKING COUNTY (Tara Morgan) — Another blow to the owner of 18 Labradors poisoned with antifreeze late last month.
A puppy of one of the surviving dogs died less than a week after it was born.
Don Butts still doesn’t know who would do this to his family or why.
Butts is giving round the clock care to the 17 labs and now three puppies.
“It’s the devil in somebody that done this God saved 17 of em this is one them what a miserable death,” said Butts.
Butts keeps all the dogs indoors and lets them out one at a time for their safety.
“Yes everybody thinks they’re coming back trying,” said Butts.
Butts says he still needs help building a privacy fence to keep people off his property.
