All Angora Rabbits are known for their long, thick fur. In addition to being pets or impressive show rabbits, Angoras are raised for their wool, which can be harvested periodically by shearing or plucking, at no risk to the animal, an woven or knit into various garments.
The English Angora is the smallest of the four recognized Angora breeds. Its coat is wonderfully soft and silky, but this breed requires more grooming than any other Angora breed because its fur mats easily.
