Our children have been begging us for a puppy for over a year! Now, we both know well how much work they are to maintain, and despite our kids’ promises to take care of it, feed it, clean up after it, etc… we are smart enough to know that we will end up being the ones to take care of it!
We kept saying “No”, and the girls continued to beg us, including the puppy request in their nightly prayers! So, for the past four months, my hubby and I have been searching for the “perfect puppy” for our family!
Just yesterday, we received a call back on one of the local ads we had seen a month ago! They had one puppy left, and wanted to know if we were interested despite us not hearing from them. So, my hubby and I drove 90 minutes to see him, gauge his kid-friendliness and temperament, and we INSTANTLY fell in love with him! {You will, too!}
Knowing our children would be totally shocked, we decided to film their reaction to seeing him for the first time. Hope you enjoy!

For the next three days, we ask that you leave your recommendations for boy puppy names in the comment section below this video. For our Sunday video this week, we will take our 4 favorite fan suggestions and present them to you for a weeklong vote-off. At the end of next week, we will announce our puppy’s name based upon your votes!
