This was the first video taken of momma dog and her puppies. This was before we even knew Layna’s name, or even that there were 7 puppies.
Always approach a strange dog with caution, especially one protecting her puppies!
You’ll notice that this video switches midway. The volunteer turned off the camera to open the bag of dog food. And Momma Dog bit her on the leg! You can hear a bit of distress in her voice when the camera comes back on. But she was okay. Just a few puncture wounds and scrapes.
