Years ago someone nicknamed our group of friends “The Puppy” which wouldn’t make any more sense even if I explained it. For the last few years we’ve all been split between New York and LA. Last summer we spent a weekend in LA for one of our friend’s birthdays and it was the first time in years that a lot of us had been together. It was the most fun I’ve ever had in a 72 hour period (the neighbor threatened to call the police one afternoon because we were laughing too loud) and everybody just fell in love with each other again. I wrote this the day after I got home and sent it to everyone on the trip; a little commemoration of a magical weekend. I wanted to give the song a life beyond that email thread so here it is. xx SR
