Charlie getting his dog. He still calls the dog “The Best Present Ever”. He used to go to a friends and come back and say “I wish I had a dog, then I’d have a best friend with me all the time”.
For weeks before we had discussions on names (sneakily, he didn’t know he was getting a dog, and l knew he’d go for Spike, so lead him it that direction to not confuse the puppy later.
