We all love our pups! They brighten up our days and bring so much happiness into our lives. So what better way to celebrate that special bond with our furry friends than with a layered cake! This cake is made from puppy-safe ingredients but looks just like the real deal. They won’t be able to tell the difference!
Dog-Friendly Layer Cake

INGREDIENTS
Coconut oil
3 cups all-natural peanut butter, divided
2 cups sugar-free applesauce
4 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
8 ounces low-fat cream cheese
2 cups plain yogurt
Carrots
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blueberries
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350ºF and spray a 7″ cake pan with coconut oil.
In a bowl, mix together 2 cups peanut butter, applesauce, eggs, and baking soda until combined. Pour a third of the batter into 7″ cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until cake is set. Remove from the pan and refrigerate until ready to use. Repeat with remaining batter to create 3 layers.
When ready to frost, whisk together cream cheese with yogurt and peanut butter until a thick frosting forms. Layer cake and frost generously. Garnish with dog-friendly fruits and vegetables.
