Ever wondered how to train a pug at home? It’s super easy cos us pug dogs are nearly always food-motivated. As a result, if you get some of our favourite dog treats (ideally healthy treats) we’ll do our best to learn the commands and easy dog tricks you are trying to teach us.
In this short pug training video watch as I reveal some pug training secrets to get your pug dog to learn sit, lie down, turn around, high five, shake hands, speak, and play dead! These easy dog tricks are a great starting point and help strengthen your bond with your pug dog and keep them mentally stimulated.
Remember to give your pug lots of positive reinforcement when they master one of the tricks or simply for trying. Patience is also super important when training a pug at home.
