Five basenjis gathered on a surprisingly pleasant late-winter morning in Washington Square Park in New York City. All visitors today were veterans. The primary show was an ongoing battle between Jet (male, two-years-old,) and Kepler (male, ten-years-old.) The others in attendance were Bronte (female, yearling,) Zion (male, five-years-old,) and Zuri (female, four-years-old.)
