The Landseer is known to be peaceful, extremely gentle and friendly family companion. They are definitely devoted to its owners and will protect them if needed. The Landseer is known as intelligent, well behaved and patient dog breed. And especially thanks to their patience, they are known for being good around children, but of course, you should always supervise them with a very young kids.
Landseer dogs love outdoors and exploring, they will enjoy long walks, but most of all, they love swimming and they are surprsingly fast and strong in the water. You should let them swim from time to time on your walks, they will just love it. But if you will provide them with enough exercise, they can happily live indoors, they do not have extremely large exercise needs and they tend to be very calm indoors.
