Dandie Dinmont Terriers are actually very affectionate and loyal dogs. They make amazing companions! It’s kind of sad that they’re considered a rare breed though, with only a few hundred puppies registered each year. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), they’re ranked 170th out of 197 breeds in popularity, so you don’t see them around too often in the US.
