Fanka had never known a life beyond the roadside toilet on the highway in the middle of a barren prairie. She was brought there as a baby by someone who had abandoned her in the cold winter night. The toilet became her home, and the passing tourists who stopped to use it were the only visitors she ever had.
Fanka’s life was not easy. She was constantly exposed to the elements, and the stench of the toilet was overpowering. Her hind legs were worn down to the bone and were rotting, causing her immense pain. But she had learned to live with the pain and the discomfort. One day, a kind-hearted woman who had stopped at the abandoned roadside cafe noticed Fanka and was horrified by her condition.
The woman took Fanka to a vet, who examined her and found that she was suffering from malnutrition, dehydration, and severe injuries to her hind legs.
The vet immediately began treating her, and the woman decided to take her in and give her a home. Fanka was hesitant at first, not used to being around humans, but soon she began to warm up to her new surroundings. She was taken for regular check-ups and treatments, and her condition began to improve.
The rotting flesh on her hind legs was removed. Fanka slowly started to trust humans again. The first time Fanka was in a wheelchair and fell… Despite her difficult past, Fanka had a gentle nature and a curious spirit. She loved exploring her new environment and meeting new people and animals. Although Fanka still carried the scars of her past, she had found a new life full of love, kindness, and adventure.
