The FIRST 5 Things To Teach Any Puppy! How To Train Your Puppy Blueprint!

Puppy Training – How To Train Your Puppy Blueprint!

How to train a puppy? This puppy training tutorial, Tom Davis shows you how to properly and easily train your puppy!

Puppies explore their world with their noses and mouths. They need to learn to differentiate their hands, feet, and shoes from their chew toys! To help curb chewing and nipping behaviors, redirect them with a toy and use The FIRST 5 Things To Teach Any Puppy video for additional tips.

Start training for a reliable recall by holding your puppy’s food in hand, saying their name, and having them follow it. Move the treat up and over their head, as they follow it, then mark when their rump hits the ground. Repeat this process multiple times a day until your puppy is reliably running to you when you say their name!

Stop using the crate as punishment for potty accidents, as this will only serve to frighten them and strain your relationship. If they soil the house, immediately take them to their outside bathroom spot and praise them if they eliminate there. Never scold them for eliminating in the house, as this will only teach them to avoid you when they need to eliminate.
