Tibetan Spaniel Breed Bred To Resemble Small Lion As Monks' Sentinel

Enthusiastic, energetic five month old Tibetan spaniel, bred to accompany Tibetan monastery monks, immediately calms, stays still and poses for the camera, as soon as I say I’m going to film how cute he is and his unique breed. I said this after his human had just told me the Tibetan spaniel is a rare breed in the U.S., since they are treasured due to how they have been bred as monks’ companions. Just a moment before this exchange, the puppy had planted his front paws on my lap and placed head near my face then had been skipping to and fro emitting affectionate, boundless energy.

Tibetan Spaniel is a rare breed bred to look like little lions as Tibetan Monks’ sentinels and companions. Supposedly, traditionally Tibbies are gifted instead of sold, and they are highly intelligent.
