Bully Kutta Puppy

The Bully Kutta… The Beast From The East, is a large Mastiff type, very beautifully formed dog found in South Asia. Originally created as a big game catch dog, the breed has been misused for the past many years for the inhumane sport of dog fighting in its native countries, Pakistan and India.

The Bully Kutta is a type of dog that could be called an Alauntee, this is because the Bully Kutta was created by crossing the original dog breed called the Alaunt with Celtic war dogs. The Alaunt was the dog that was called Mastin for the first time. From Mastin the word Mastiff was derived. Thus making the Alaunt the original Mastiff. The Bully Kutta is a dog which is found largely in Pakistan. Bully in its name comes from the fact that it has the blood of Olde British Bulldogs and the Bull-and-Terrier dogs in it, and Kutta means “dog” in Urdu.

This powerful breed is also referred to as Indian Alangu Mastiff and Pakistani Mastiff. The Indian Alangu Mastiff name was given due to the fact that that this rare breed of dog hails from southern India specifically from the Thanjavur and Tiruchi districts. The Pakistani Mastiff name was given as although the breed was developed in India these dogs are most commonly seen and used today in areas that belong to Pakistan.
