This is my puppy, Loki, at only about 7-10 days old. We had to separate him from his mother to feed him apart from his brother and sisters because his mother wasn’t producing enough milk and stopped feeding him, barking and snapping at him to keep him away from the group. Some dogs do this with bigger litters if they don’t have enough milk, so Loki was fed by bottle until she could produce more milk for the entire litter. You can hear his mother crying in the background, don’t worry, shortly after we finished feeding the puppy, he was returned to his mother, but I couldn’t help but find how cute it was when he growled when you messed with his toys.
