Puppy Phoenix Boarding with Mini Training – Day 01/02
Phoenix is a 5 months old Shepard mix, his doggie parents have done a great job crate train him so he has a very easy transition when come to board with me for only 36 hours.
Phoenix is a very submissive pup and sometimes being a little unsure, which is very important for the doggie parents to be great advocates for him. A lot of dogs go thru a fear period around 7 months age, so it’s even more crucial for Phoenix doggie parents to keep up with the training and socialization, safely expose Phoenix to different situations but be his advocates and not to overwhelm him and to ensure he always feel safe as he will be going thru the fear period soon.
He got to potty outside today and I did some early interruption of the leash pulling using a slip lead with pressure and release as well as long line practice.
