Puppy training is really a lot of fun. There are a couple of simple ways to teach your puppy to really enjoy the process of learning, and they are really simple. Teaching your dog to come on command is a straightforward process, but it all starts with teaching your dog to be motivated to come to you when you call them. Ken shows how he’s building drive to respond to the come command with Bruin the Labrador puppy. Kayl revisits some shaping with her Border Collie puppy Bee-Line. It’s been a while since she used shaping techniques with Bee, and since Bee-Line has gotten bigger Kayl wants to try some of the skills she learned. This helps Bee LOVE the training process because she is rewarded generously when she can only be right.
