Simon Cowell furious after terrified puppies used on Britains Got More Talent segment

Simon Cowell has been left furious after puppies were left ‘trembling’ on Britain’s Got More Talent .

The dog lover – who has his own pair of Yorkshire terriers called Squiddly and Diddly – was reportedly fuming after the Dalmatian puppies began shaking during the quiz.

The quiz, hosted by Stephen Mulhern , saw the Britain’s Got Talent judges answering questions and for each correct answer they were rewarded with a puppy.

Despite thousands of people being in the audience and the loud noises of the studio, the puppies were handed out like prizes on the late-night ITV2 show, leaving Simon reportedly furious.
On just round two of the Puppies Got Talent quiz, the show’s creator told his fellow judges: “She’s frightened, this one.”

He also appeared visibly concerned about the adorable dogs on stage, walking off stage with his puppy to put it back in its crate.
He did not return to the stage, and the quiz was quickly brought to an end.

As Stephen took the show to another link, Simon was reportedly heard telling production staff: “They shouldn’t be doing this.”

The music mogul was also heard clearly speaking to the owner of the puppies to check on their welfare after their brief time in the spotlight, and reportedly said the dogs should be taken home.

Later in the show, presenter Stephen spoke to viewers and apologised for the stunt.

“Very quickly,” he said. “I just want to apologise if we upset anybody with the puppies. Obviously that was not our intention in any shape or form.

“So if we have upset you in any way I do apologise on behalf of Britain’s Got Talent.”

A spokesman for Britain’s Got Talent told Mirror Online: “We apologised on air during the show if anyone was upset by the item.”
It comes after Alesha Dixon was embroiled in a race row after referring to an act as ‘sexy chocolate men’.

Following the performance of quartet Vox Fortura (they were formerly Vox Fortis but lost a band member and changed their name), Alesha showered the singers with compliments.

She wasn’t the only one as Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden were also fans of the act – who comprise two black Americans and two black English vocalists.
