A4831152 Tucker Pit Bull Mix Puppy

Published on Jun 13, 2015
A4831152 Tucker is a sunny 1-year-old white-and-brown male Pit Bull mix puppy who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from El Monte on May 16th. Weighing 57 lbs, Tucker has an interesting coat—it looks like a cow pattern in some places and a giraffe pattern (if there is such a thing) in others—and he has a definite, quizzical eyebrow over his right eye, plus that pittie pinkness on his handsome face. He’s essentially a large blank puppy slate, eager to get down to being a family member, silly (he loves to flop over and wait for you to rub his belly), and, well, just ready to swap affection and play with both humans and other dogs. He could use some training in puppy basics (as all young ones can), especially because he’s full of life and energy and he’s strong. He did really well on his shelter-administered temperament test and thus is ready to fly the coop and make use of his family-readiness. Any active individual or family that likes their puppies strong, energetic, and eager to please will find Tucker perfect for them, and we think Tucker will let them know how perfect they are in return.

Mission:
United Hope for Animals is dedicated to reducing homelessness among companion animals through spay/neuter, shelter support, photography, video and networking of shelter animals in Southern California. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to end homelessness among companion animals by supporting shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs. Through our Shelter Support Program, our volunteers photograph and video shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption significantly. Our volunteer Adoption Coordinators help facilitate adoptions of shelter pets. United Hope for Animals supports rescue, spay/neuter and networking of shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption. UHA is not a shelter, but supports shelters to help increase visibility of animals who might not otherwise be seen.
