We’ve been dating for over a year and the entire time my girlfriend hasn’t stopped talking about how badly she needs a puppy. Eventually she started trying to convince my parents to get one and to my surprise… it worked! So over this past weekend while she was studying for finals we went out and adopted Max. He’s an eight week old German Shepherd mix, and because my girlfriend had tests all week and studied like the good student she is, I decided to wait and surprise her with Max once she was done with school!
