At Dachshund Australia, the toilet training of your puppy starts from the day they r born.
Mum keeps them pristine for the first three weeks – at which time they start solids and can toddle out of the nest to wee.
This is where we take over. Special vet bedding keeps the bed dry and we change it twice daily as well. Aim being that puppies never view the nest as a place to toilet.
