This is the adorable moment a Golden Retriever puppy appears to be hypnotised by a rope before leaping up to attack it.
Precious pooch Lou watches intently as owner Patrick Meyer swings the twine, quickly becoming entranced by the swooping and letting out a huge yawn.
Seemingly tired, the 16-week-old dog lays down on the carpet at home in Poquoson, Virginia, USA, lazily batting away at the rope.
As if playing possum, Lou finds a sudden burst of energy and leaps to his feet before attacking the offending rope trying to make him fall asleep.
