I surprised my husband with an 11 week old German Shepherd. Our anniversary isn’t til June but when I went to meet the breeder from whom I’d planned to purchase a puppy, I had no idea I’d fall head over heels for this little guy. I knew my husband would feel the same and I was right.
Also, I’d counted on him working that day but he ended up being off. So, I just told him I had “errands to run” and I’d be home late which is why he asks “Is this where you’ve been”. We have 3 cats in the house also which is why I say “Tonight should be interesting” since the first and last time a puppy was in our house was complete disaster with one of them
