Here’s how to introduce your puppy to a new situtation, if he feels unsure or uncomfortable: he must be allowed how much or how little he should interact. So he starts from a ‘Safe Place and learns quickly that you will protect him if he choses to return to it; that means you will block any other puppy from coming in. But you will NOT block your puppy from coming out and intereacting, if he feels like doing so!
