This can be an enormously helpful tool if you’re trying to minimize or eliminate the use of lures during the acquisition phase of training, particularly with the ‘Place’ command.
Side note-saying ‘No’ isn’t corrective in nature at this stage. ‘No’ means nothing to her until it we give it teeth by consistently pairing it with a correction. I’m just redirecting her attention and planting the seed of the word.
