Georgia State Trooper Jordan Ennis had been driving down an abandoned road in an Atlanta subdivision when he saw a puppy. Ennis says, “This little brown puppy was just sitting on the curb near the woods (and) that’s when I found the other two.” The three puppies had been found cowering together in the brush. Finding discarded puppies has been a first for the trooper. The puppies, which are about a month old and look like boxer-mixes have quickly been adopted. The department wrote, “a trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day.”
