Couple Claims They Found Abandoned Puppy, Then Cops See Their Dog And Know They’re Lying

When a couple approached police and animal control officers claiming that they had found a puppy abandoned in the bushes, the authorities had the dog’s best interest at the forefront of their minds. What mattered the most was getting this poor creature the help she needed, and fast.

However, when the officers investigated the incident and interviewed the couple, they quickly realized that the pair had lied about the puppy: they hadn’t found her, and were instead allegedly the ones responsible for her rough condition. Another dog named Oreo was also found in the rough shape at their home.

With enough proof, they arrested and charged them with animal cruelty.
